Here is something I mentioned in passing, about web site sending
Javascript to mine cryptocurrency in a distributed fashion on their
visitors' browsers ...

If mining (for a certain cryptocurrency, Monero in this case) is profitable
in Javascript,  then it can be done on less powerful hardware (for the time
being, until it becomes unprofitable).
