I have a handful of RFID Yubikeys (no longer available) - I was using them for access to some industrial space I was renting about 5y ago. Worked great; I designed and built a little “shop controller” board which acted as a security system (monitoring sensors and read the Yubikeys with standard Wiegand prox readers) and also managed the furnace as well, since it was uninsulated and would take several hours to warm up to the point were my fingers weren’t shaking too much to type.

They are also USB auth keys with all the usual 2FA goodness, but I never used them for that purpose.
