I've had mixed experiences with various screen recording programs, and I
don't remember which program I found to be the most reliable, but I do
remember trying several, and getting unsatisfactory results with many of
them. Some recordings were completely unusable. I'd strongly suggest
trying a few in advance of your presentation and seeing how well they
work for you. "apt-cache search screencast" on my Debian machine gives
a few options; I don't know if Mint has all the same packages.
