[kwlug-disc] 2008 iMac wifi resolving issues / Xubuntu

Hi all, I'm wondering if anyone running any form of Linux on an iMac
has experienced issues with wifi connecting, but not resolving?
Here's the scenario: We have a wifi router set up and all our laptops
are connected to it and resolving web sites just fine. We just
installed Xubuntu Linux on 2 x 2008 iMacs and it installed fine, and
connects to the wireless router fine, but it doesn't seem to resolve
any web site (or internal I.P.). Plugging an ethernet cable into the
iMacs results in the iMac resolving things just fine (same subnet as
the wifi router, same subnet mask, default route, and primary dns).
Other devices work, it just seems to be the two iMacs we set up that
have a problem with the wifi. The driver appears to be installed and
working since I can see other networks and connect to our network.
It's a bit bizarre...
Thanks,
Charles
