[kwlug-disc] Refurbished/Used Android phones (best place locally?)

For the past 15 or so years, I have been buying phones used off Kijiji
from individuals.

The one time I bought from a shop, the colours on the screen were kind
of pale, and they refused to take it back.

My personal preference for ~ 12 years is Sony because of the build
quality, water proof, bright screen, microSD card, and so on ...
To get around their native home app, I just install Nova Launcher,
and that makes it familiar to me.

As much as I would like to install an open Android system, the
model selections are limited.
