[kwlug-disc] Framework Laptop

I was all about the trackpad and/or an external mouse but a good friend of
mine(trackpoint freak, Hi Tom!) suggested I turn off the pad in the BIOS of
my Thinkpad T42 laptop and try the trackpoint for a weekend.
it was aggravating enough to the point when I almost gave up, but come
Monday morning, I was sold. Never looked back and now can't live without it.
That was back in 2005.
