I do recall reading something about Samsung being the most reliable, but
that
was a few years back, and there was talk about differences between the PRO
and the regular stuff.

I had settled on the WDBlue, which was delivered yesterday.

The EVO is only $10 more, so I am going to exchange the WD at
Best Buy for an EVO.
