Hi,

I'm doing the dreaded job search, and have can't resist Linked-In any 
longer.

Any opinions on the value these days of a Linked-In profile?


I still haven't forgotten them being hacked and having the users' *clear 
text* passwords extracted (if I recall the incident correctly - maybe 
poorly hashed & unsalted?).



Also, I've been checking out the interface, updating my profile, and 
seeing who's in my connections feed.  I may have requested a couple 
"connections" already.

If you don't want to connect with me, I understand. Join the long list, 
beginning with Mom. /jk



If anyone's on Linked-In, recognizes me, and is willing to "connect" 
and, better, share some endorsements, please reach out off-list.
