I disagree with pointing webcams at the audience unless the audience
consents to this. I accept that we capture audience audio and that
this is hypocritical, but if we capture video then even those who are
deliberately being silent can be recorded forever.

One issue with webcams on BBB is that they make the presentation
screen size significantly smaller. Another is that BBB (at least in
the version we have installed) scales bandwidth poorly with more video
streams. 

It is important that the presenter continue to share screens on BBB.
Although we used to take video by pointing a camera at the screen, in
my experience this results in much less readable slides and a worse
experience for remote viewers. 

Having said this my opinions are not the most important thing here. 
The opinions of those who watch online are what is important. I have
not seen their opinions on this thread. If they want to chip in that
would be welcome.
