[kwlug-disc] ... the encoding again

More observations on "encoding" thingy we are having.

I've sent two replies to list, using Thunderbird.

In the first reply I meticulously chopped lines, and message from mail 
list has no encoding funkiness.

The second one is a reply to an original message that itself contains 
longer line. Note that the original was neither "encoded" nor lines 
chopped. Now, my reply gets lines chopped and encoded with that thingy, 
and it is encoding of places where lines are chopped.
