When I was using TekSavvy, I got into the habit of checking out the
competitors' prices every 9-12 months, just to see what deals I could
find.   What I found was that usually I could get double my rates or
better, for usually $10-$20 less per month.  One of the advantages of not
having a contract.  I bounced around between third-party providers fairly
often, but coming out with better speeds each time.

Now that I'm at the theoretical max of 1000/50 (I know, 56k was supposed to
be the theoretical maximum....), I don't get the chance to find better
rates for better money, but I do still advise people to keep an eye out for
deals.  It's a buyer's market out there, so long as you avoid going to Bell
or Rogers directly.

For those of you keeping score, I'm getting the 1000/50 from CarryTel,
paying $64.64 after taxes.
