[kwlug-disc] Anyone using Google Cloud Shell?

This explains how it works:
https://cloud.google.com/shell/docs/how-cloud-shell-works
It's convenient because you get some authentication and the Google Cloud
CLI pre-configured, and it's ephemeral so it just stores your data when
you're not using it.
The deletion notice is probably if you haven't accessed Cloud Shell for 120
days, Cloud Shell automatically deletes your $HOME directory and can't
recover your files. It sends you the notice before it does that.

FYI you can get a free e2-micro VM on Google Cloud Free Tier, which I don't
believe ever ends (unlike AWS):
https://cloud.google.com/free/docs/free-cloud-features#compute
Although you need to add a credit card, you can use GCP Free Tier as long
as you want, and not worry about getting billed or going over resources.
You have to specifically allow it to start billing you - "Be assured, when
a Cloud Billing account has the status of a Free trial account, Google will
not charge you."

Cheers,
Jason
