[kwlug-disc] Audio device not detected?

I have two Raspis hooked up to the TV via HDMI cables; they both deliver
sound with no issues. To be honest, it was simple plug and play. (one of
those Raspis is running LibreElec/Kodi, the other is running RetroPie, so
_maybe_ the audio configs were preconfigured?)
But in doing a quick search for your issue, I did come across:
https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=263942
The one line on that page that caught my eye was: "Select the appropriate
output from the volume control on the Raspbian desktop, or use "amixer -q
cset numid=3 1" (1=analog, 2=HDMI0, 3=HDMI1)"
Hopefully that helps.
