[kwlug-disc] Documenting your digital life

I'mI've been looking at Markdown based note taking programs.  I like
writing Markdown because it's easy to format and makes good Readme files.

Obsidian doesn't have a free open source license so I am always surprised
by how popular it is.

For a website, MkDocs and Hugo are both good options with lots of
customization. Material for MkDocs is a framework to extend and customize
the site. This is more of a WordPress replacement I'm considering:

Joplin is probably the one I am going to try for note taking:

Would appreciate feedback from anyone who has used it.

I don't think I'll need a full wiki.  Organizing notes by folders and md
files is pretty logical to me.
