I have the same concerns as Diane and researched the same topics. But I didn't use an "ai detector", I don't trust those.
If she read the same web page about Andre's trucking experience, that has a photo that matches Andre's photo on the web site, so I don't dispute his photo is real. And there's nothing wrong with having a day job in addition to being a Linux enthusiast.
The books she complains about are bad AI slop, not suitable for reading by humans. There is so much obvious AI slop on the web site that the Linux Association looks like one of those 100% AI hallucinated fake organizations. I don't think it is, I think the people are real, but the vibes are bad, and I think that is a real concern and a reputational risk.
