[kwlug-disc] Xubuntu 24.04 LTS Minimal is snap free

In the past, I have mentioned on this group that I use Xubuntu for
desktops, and stick to the LTS releases.
Snap is installed, and a few snap packages are there, but they can easily
be removed, and snap purged via  apt altogether.

I am in the process of preparing a small server, and found out that Xubuntu
has a minimal installation that is basically snap free.
The snapd package is installed, but there are no snaps installed at all.

By typing a single command:
sudo apt purge snapd
The system becomes snap free.
