[kwlug-disc] Holy shit! LG TVs are a privacy nightmare!

For those who are reluctant to use X the Everything App, here is
another writeup about the LG malware:

I thought that the monitor was installing things over HDMI, but I
guess we are not living in a dystopian enough future yet. The
installation mechanism appears to be Windows Update: the computer
recognises that the LG monitor has been plugged in, and then downloads
"drivers" that include happy popup ads.
