To his surprise(and mine!), he found that the Copper leads were horribly "soldered" to Aluminium windings! I've been mostly happy with it. It works with NUT as a usbhid device. Even a momentary brown-out would immediately shut off the device, and I'd have to reboot everything. Self-tests passed, and the display stated I had about 45 minutes of runtime.
