At work, I was recently required to change my desktop from Linux to <br>

To continue being productive, I converted my Linux environment into a <br>
VM, and RDP to it. It works rather well. Like many other things in <br>
Wayland, this sort of thing is up to the compositor to implement, rather <br>
than being implemented in the protocol (for better and worse).<br>

In Gnome settings, enable "Remote Login". You can set a user/password to <br>
limit access over RDP. Once you connect, you're given a GDM login <br>
screen, and you then log in with your user credentials. Sessions persist <br>
between disconnects.<br>

It works rather well.<br>
