<p>Long time lurker here.</p>
<p>I had my notes on Wunderlist, exported them to Microsoft To do
when they got bought, but could not install it on a PC without a
Microsoft account.<br>
</p>
<p>I found Joplin last year after looking into other things (Notion
included, which was more work than fun).</p>
<p>Joplin is simple, synchronizes well and they release often.</p>

I still use text files, because I am a dinosaur and want to
grep. But<br>
my understanding is that the cool kids use Obidisan (and
clones) these<br>
days? This allows them to easily relate notes to each other,

them into 10x human beings.<br>
