</blockquote></div><div><br clear="all"></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">Two family members were in the same situation as you.</div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">Basically Fido is ending 3G and require customers to get a 5G phone.</div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default"><br></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">What we ended up doing is ask Fido for a free phone. <br></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">And we did get them, but the caveat is we must stay with Fido for 2 years. <br></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">If you are happy with your current Fido's, I would recommend researching this option.</div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default"><br></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">The phone is a Motorola Edge 2024.</div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">Everything about it is great, including a mostly plain vanilla Android.</div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default"><br></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">Exceptions are:</div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default"><br></div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">1. It does not have a 3.5mm socket (most phones now lack that anyway), and you can get a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter for very little money (but the phone case may interfere with it).<br></div><div><br></div><div><div style="font-size:small" class="gmail_default">2.
