Based on experience from a few years ago:<br>

Generally speaking, gas water heaters, including installation, are more <br>
expensive to purchase than electric water heaters. On the other hand, the <br>
energy cost for gas is less than for electricity.<br>

One hopes, for the sake of our planet, that the energy costs will reverse.<br>
<br>
Electric water heaters should be more reliable but gas heaters aren't bad.<br>
<br>
DON'T rent water heaters. Scammy.<br>
