I'm in London, and several neighbourhoods on my part of town are getting
Fibre installations.

The notice said it was a third party installing "Dark Fibre" for future
use, but my parent's have already had a Telus sales person come by to
try and sign them up.

My neighbourhood is still only partially done. They've run the bundles
down the street, but they haven't connected to houses yet. Fibre is
sticking up out of the ground near the two large divots they didn't
properly fill or seed.

I'm interested in Fibre -- if I can still get service via Teksavvy. My
biggest complaint about my current service is the aging infrastructure.
My current copper cable service is above-ground, and during freeze/thaw
cycles can suffer daily disconnections.

I'm hoping Fibre will solve that issue, at least.
