What about simply making OpenStreetMap.org the FLOSS fund candidate?  I
didn't see this suggestion in the thread below...but I can't imagine that it
hasn't been tabled yet.

Thanks for the links on how to contribute to relief/aid using OSM.  I was
scheduled to travel to Port Au Prince on Feb. 10th, but my humanitarian work
has been postponed due to the recent events.  Using OSM I can still
contribute to my organization's team that was in situ when disaster struck.
