Yeah, we've got a flatbed and a double-sided doc feeder on the scanner.  
And it's fast.  It's amazing what you can get if it's older, off of ebay 
for $75 :).

As an insurance office, we are scanning a lot of documents daily, all 20 
pages long all going into one pdf.  Even a few keystrokes can make a 
difference in the app.  gscan2pdf looked good but is crashing on the 
machine.  Funny, because it is actually part of the mandriva repositories.
