Hi all: Hopefully this is not too OT for everyone...

There's an Ubuntu Hour being held tonight at 8:00pm at the Duke of
Wellington pub in Waterloo. It's a low-key discussion on all kinds of
stuff; computers are optional. Everyone is welcome, Ubuntu user or
not.  I'm going to be subversive and bring a CrunchBang OS to an
Ubuntu meeting, so there!

The last Friday in July is System Administrator's Appreciation Day.
Those of you who are SysAdmins will know how important it is to be
appreciated on even one day a year! To celebrate, some SysAdmins are
meeting for dinner at the Egg Roll King at 6:00pm next Friday, 27
July. Everyone is welcome, but please RSVP as ERK is a small place and
space is limited.
