[kwlug-disc] IRC connection issues

While I haven't been on IRC for a while, I logged in today and noticed that
I can't login when I have my VPN running.  If I disconnect my VPN I get the
IRC login screen fine.

Is this considered normal, or do I need to contact the VPN people about
this?
