Most definitely not Windows only. I'm not sure I've ever run it under
Windows - I don't use Windows that much.

Been using the repository for a very long time - been consistently
reliable. IIRC so consistent and reliable he's all but, or is, a member
of the core team.


Or you can download and turn on automatic updates. Or check for updates
when so inclined.

It also has its own sync site, i.e. separate from Firefox, if that's of
interest.
