[kwlug-disc] msmtp email to gmail not landing - ideas?

Not sure I'm following.
Did think to check the gmail spam folder just in case. No joy.
I'm connecting to cpanel2.indieserve.net and authenticating with user
vps01 at kwlug.org. (Not to gmail.) So, SMTP authentication is successful.
(I don't see any way to set SMTPAUTH authentication as a specific type
of authentication, but I don't think that's what you meant. man

I took a quick google at reverse dns and gmail and can see it's a
problem for the world.
Paul - have you had any issues sending from @kwlug.org addresses to
@gmail.com addresses?
I took a quick run by https://mxtoolbox.com on kwlug.org - it's not
entirely happy.
I'm a little confused, though - I could put any ol' from address in. The
SMTP server swallows it up and forwards it on. Just what is google
reverse DNS'ing against?
