my two cents: the risk of being sued over someone posting illegal 
content / libel / copyrighted material is real enough that if you're 
going to open your instance to others, you should really nip that in the 
bud before the first court case can impact your personal savings and or 
property. It's best to be a little proactive when dealing with the 
general public.
