Have you used a recent Lenovo trackpoint, though? Lenovo switched suppliers apparently. The one in my T14 is pretty bad -- very choppy and inconsistent. Apparently it's some problem with the sample rate. It's been driving me crazy since I bought the laptop to the point that I've started using the trackpad.

Also, for the keyboard/trackpoint elitists out there, this is my desktop keyboard. It's glorious:
