In November 2023, Fido had an offer for a plan that is
effectively like this:

- Bring your own device
- $29 per month
- Unlimited Canada calling
- Unlimited Canada texting (maybe USA as well)
- 30GB of data

It is really 20GB with a 10GB bonus
And it is really a $34 plan, with a $5 discount for prepay.

There was a considerable lineup to get into the store
to get this plan.

It has been transformative to have that much data and
not having to worry of running out. I really only use a
tiny fraction of the data allowance, since I am at home
most of the time with WiFi available. Even a 20GB plan
would be more than enough for me.

Look for plans around Black Friday, usually some good
plans show up at that time.
