RonaldB,

How many drives in your ZFS pool on that old PC?
What is the CPU hit like when doing disk I/O? Egregious? Or merely a blip?
Reason I ask, I wonder how ZFS would play with a laptop, especially with
battery life and fan ramping up due to CPU hit.
