It's an ancient CPU and there has been no noticeable change in performance.


CPU is AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor, so yeah, ancient.  Works 
just fine.



Pool was created on date 2023-09-15.08:27:26 with initially a single 
Hitachi 7200 RPM drive and an image file, later migrated to matching 
Hitachi disks.


Disks have Power_On_Hours = 150978 (i.e. 17 *years*).



They (Alan & Jim) say it works just fine as a laptop FS.
