I'll just suggest that if you're running ZFS on a non-ECC RAM
machine, you may want to run memtest from time to time.

A few years back, I had ZFS on my multi-disk desktop machine,
and I would get problems from time to time.  Turned out that I
had a bad stick of RAM.  The OS itself didn't notice or care
about the occasional memory error, but ZFS sure did.
