No, I don't have air conditioning and it isn't really needed in Vancouver.

I prefer to heat without fossil fuels when possible so it's a minor 
sacrifice I'm willing to make.


Now, the Dell PowerEdge 2950 that I had been running a while back?  That 
was both expensive and uncomfortably warm, so 100% agree with you on 
that monster's electricity use.

There's an advantage to having them separate - I can fiddle with the 
desktop without interrupting access to my Nextcloud on the separate, old 
computer.
