If you don't use bridge mode, your packets with be subject to NAT
twice -- once by the Rogers box and once by your router. And your own
router will not have a globally routable address.
The dynamic but globally routable address can have a domain name that
tracks the IP address, allowing you to SSH in (if you want).
If you want a static IP address, neither Rogers nor Bell consumer
services will work for you.
