You can just plug the disk and pull the data off.  Windows 10/11 can 
mount Windows 7 disk as "D:", and Linux can mount it, also.

Now, if you're recovering from flaky disk, then, as Paul suggested, you 
should make copy and work with the copy (not the original).  That copy 
could be another disk or image file.  Not sure if Windows 10/11 
recognizes disk image, but in Linux, you use "loop" device to mount it.
