I hear you about Rogers (and for that matter, Bell), but I don't see what
other choice we have but to go with a 3rd party reseller.
Currently I'm with vMedia, paying $90/mo for 300/30 cable. So you can
imagine my excitement when I saw the 1000/50 cable for $55 (yes, I did see
the 3 months special, but neglected to mention it in my earlier email).
So far my cable experience has been fair. But at the same time, I drive
around my neighbourhood and see coax cable running from the little node
boxes that are strung up trees, over neighbours' homes, along the ground,
you name it. So I wonder if it's Roger's in general that's bad, or just
the cable guys running around doing half-baked installs.
